Germany

Every week I get some more resolution on my plans to study at Oberursel in the Fall. I'm taking classes here at the Seminary this summer; they will finish 03 August. I will fly to Germany on 29 August. I've enrolled in a "superintensive" four-week German course at the Goethe Institute in Frankfurt from 03 - 28 September. Classes begin at Oberursel on 16 October. (Helmut and Martin Paul, two seminary exchange students from South Africa, by way of Germany, will return to Germany in October.) I'll have breaks for Christmas and between semesters (roughly February). Classes finish at Oberursel on 11 July, 2008. Then I'll return to the United States for vicarage (I'll find out where in April 2008), then return to St. Louis for my final year of seminary (2009-10). Wow. That sounds far off . . . .

Blogging is a new experience for me. At the suggestion of a friend, I decided to give it a shot with the intent of keeping my friends and family updated. As this is the age of maximum convenience, I figure it means less work for me!
